Job     Job Title: Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer Location(s): Shanghai Number: 2 Company: American Company Responsibilities: Specific job responsibilities include - Work with manager and/or technical project manager to provide information that will aid in the initial quoting process. - Create designs, drawings, and calculations for product development - Provide Document Control with a complete design package consisting of data and documentation prior to production launch. - Work concurrently with other Design Services departments, Business Unit Management, Manufacturing, Test, Purchasing, and Quality departments through the design phase of a program. Work to provide a design that not only meets the customer锟斤拷s criteria, but is also of high quality, cost effective, and manufacturability - Support production discrepancies by incorporating fixes into subsequent revisions in a timely manner - Communicate and clarify engineering queries from vendor -Support customers by performing design reviews, analysis, and tooling launch and support. Requirements: - Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Open, team spirit, self motivated and good communication skill - Five years related experience on static and dynamic design and analysis of mechanical systems and equipment (Gear, Liners, Screw, Chain, Belt etc.) - Be proficient using latest version of corresponding 3D design tools ( Solidwork, Pro-engineering) - Be capable on Finite Element, Kinematics and Tolerance analysis - Experience with one or more software and mathematical applications (e.g. FEA software, Minitab, etc.) is desired - Knowledge of reliability model, safety standards (UL, FCC, IEC etc.) and DFSS - Good Technical writing skill - Speaks Fluent English 锟斤拷锟斤拷锟斤拷锟诫将锟斤拷锟斤拷锟斤拷锟斤拷锟斤拷 Email: grace.shi@echocc.com
