General Description: The candidate will implement technical approaches to complex problems, provide technical requirements definitions, and conceive new solutions to enhance new products and improve products using creative and novel approaches. Areas of specialization: Analog and power electronics design, Power distribution and switching, Battery charge/discharge control, Motor Drive, High precision signal detection and conditioning, Analog filter, Transducer design, EMI/EMC analysis and design, Grounding and signal preservation techniques, Design for manufacturing and testing, Quality improvement, process development, Regulatory compliance, including UL and CE. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform simulation, custom circuit layout, parameter extraction, device characterization, and testing of advanced analog electronics, sensors and conditional circuit, power supply and drive, optical electronics, and related products. Plan, organize, execute and thoroughly document complex mixed- signal circuit designs. - Supervise engineers, engage in developing technical solutions to customer specifications, determining the limits of new technology, and inventing novel intellectual properties. - Position will include interfacing with customer and business unit to define product architecture and required feature set. You will do architecture evaluation to generate proposals. You will work in a team of highly motivated individuals interfacing with other design groups, responsible for mixed signal circuit design, optimization, verification and final integration of whole system. Requirements: BSEE preferably MSEE with at least 5 years industry experience designing small signal analog circuit and power supplies and drive circuitry. Expertise required in the following areas: Analog circuit analysis and design expertise ranging from DC to 1 MHz. ?Board-level component selection circuit design and PCB layout expertise. ?Data acquisition system design expertise (Analog to Digital conversion filter design). ?Sensor interface, signal conditioning, analog filter design. ?EMC, ESD design, analysis and improvement ?Knowledge of reliability model and safety standards such as UL, CE, IEC, FCC etc. ?Schematic capture use Cadence OrCAD and Concept HDL. ?Circuit simulation with PSPICE and thermal analysis. ?Demonstrated independence and self-management capabilities. ?Strong communication skills (verbal and written). ?Excellent technical writing skill in English. ?Industrial, Medical and/or White Goods electronics hardware and components expertise.
