Job     Job Title: HSE Mgr Location(s): Shanghai Number: 1 Company: American Company Responsibilities: Objective: Interpret and translate the mandatory requirements in environmental protection and work safety, corporate Responsible Care 庐 principles and practices into company SHE system, establish, implement SHE policies, procedures and programs in the company to ensure the compliance of corporate and mandatory requirements, assure management锟斤拷s initiative to take necessary actions to raise employee awareness of risks, and to reduce, avoid and protect employee from hazards and occupational illnesses in the workplace Responsibility: - Establishment and Implementation of SHE policy * Establish and develop company SHE policies, guideline, procedures and achievement objectives according the development of laws, regulations, standards - SHE preventive measures * Establish company HSE preventive guideline and monitor the implementation * Responsible for the identification of the existing and potential hazards, and recommend the improvement action - SHE performance monitoring鈥?Organize company or external HSE audit, complete the audit report and recommend the improvement action and method * Monitor daily HSE performance to ensure the emission of waste, the condition of plant operation meet the EIA, LSHA and OHA requirements and relevant laws, regulations - HSE training * Set up company HSE training scheme, plan and organize the general HSE training to strength the employee锟斤拷s awareness on HSE * Assist plant and other department to set up HSE training scheme, plan on department level, supervise the execution and involve the result evaluation - Communication with authority * Set up official and warm communication channel with relevant authority to ensure the efficient information exchange * Responsible for the certification application regarding HSE felid * Responsible for the coordination of all the HSE inspection, audit and other activities required by authorities - Documentation * Maintain a documental system to ensure the major activities are documented properly * Prepare the HSE presentation documents, statistics and report Requirements: - Bachelor degree or above in Chemistry or other similar discipline - Min. 8 years working experiences in chemical/ petrochemical plant and at least 2 years experience experiences in managerial position - Good knowledge in Chinese laws, regulations, standards regarding HSE - Good knowledge in chemicals and other hazardous substance - Good influencing and impacting ability and communication skill - Proficient in both written and oral English - Conflict management - Safety, Health & Environment Awareness, Quality Orientation
