Job     Job Title: Finance Mgr Location(s): Shanghai Number: 1 Company: American Company Responsibilities: - Ensure the internal control system is established and implemented * Set up internal control system to safeguard Company锟斤拷s assets in accordance with Company management rules and ensure compliance of established internal control * Ensure integrity of the accounting records and make sure that financial statements & accounting treatments are in conformity with China accounting, fiscal, Foreign Exchange & other requirements as well as Company internal management rules - Ensure financial reporting is accurate and timely * Ensure timely submission of monthly financial reports * Prepare annual budget, monthly forecast, management reports and related analysis (variance analysis, control of costs & expenses under General Manager supervision to ensure Company锟斤拷s goal is met - Contribute to the efficient deployment of resources through budget variance analysis and corrective action implementation * Optimize the ERP system to ensure accurate and prompt financial information are prepared with support from Company China Investment MIS team * Co-ordinate with the Insurance Broker to make sufficient insurance coverage over Company锟斤拷s assets and activities in conformity with Company insurance policies * Handle treasury activities in coordination with the central treasury department in Company China Investment - Assist the General Manager in the day-to-day management of the company * Supervise the Finance staff to fulfill their responsibilities * Deal with Government Authorities such as Tax Authority, State Administration on Foreign Exchange, etc. to ensure compliance with Laws & Regulations * Coordinate with ACI锟斤拷s legal department to ensure the company in line with all legal requirements Requirements: - Bachelor锟斤拷s degree in Finance/Accounting; professional qualification (e.g. CICPA) preferable - Knowledge of accounting software - 5 years experience in related field of which 1-2 years in industrial accounting management position; good technical knowledge on accounting, fiscal, foreign exchange and related rules, experience with audit firm is a plus - Good inter-personal skills, good command of English; initiative to identify and solve problems; work independently but should possess team-spirit; think creatively in handling problems; exposure in legal consolidation work is a plus; excellent management skill; willing to grow within the group; committed to results and able to motivate, drive and enhance subordinate skills for future development - Able to work under pressure/time constraint
