Job     Job Title: Sourcing Mgr Location(s): Shanghai Number: 1 Company: American Company Responsibilities: - Identifying sourcing opportunities - Support & monitor overseas Business units to transfer technology into Asia - Leverage the supplier锟斤拷s base for all Business units in the worldwide and JVs in China - Assure continuity of supplier and Quality - Meet performance objective such as: project schedule adherence, % quality level - Generate and maintain qualified supplier database - Qualify and rate the current suppliers to IR division in Asia (indirect or direct materials) with the measure on business, technology and quality aspects - Provide the on-site surveys and visits to suppliers to ensure the quality and service levels when needed - Study and implement the logistic support service to shorten the supply chain cycle and minimize the total logistic cost - Position locate in Shanghai China Requirements: - Degree holder of mechanical/electrical engineering is need - At least 6 years solid procurement experience gained from established companies. (Prefer in Door Lockset or related business) - The incumbent will be responsible for the strategic planning - Rich knowledge in ANSI, and ISO9000 system and implement - Proactive and with team attitude - Good presentation skill - Fluency in spoken and written English
