Job     Job Title: Regional Sourcing Mgr Location(s): Shanghai Number: 1 Company: American Company Responsibilities: Strategic Sourcing - Create Sourcing Strategy for Asia Pacific Region (5 mfg sites): -Focus - High spend key components - Compressors, Motors, Refrigerants, Fans. - Supplier Consolidation - Identify which supplier to use, which supplier to eliminate. - Material Cost Reduction - Negotiate annual price contract with key Suppliers to achieve cost reductions. - New Supplier Control - Review and Manage entry of all new suppliers to Supply Base. - AOP - Manage coordination and consolidation of Annual Operating Plan for Materials Sourcing in Region. Systems & Process Implementation for Asia Pacific Region (5 mfg sites): - Introduce Global Systems & Processes to the Region. - Ensure training and understanding is achieved. - Coordinate implementation and execution in daily work. - Key Processes & Systems - Supplier Audit / NCI / Scorecard / Metals Tracking / Hedging, etc. - Ensure Database Alignment across Region. Project Management: - Material Productivity - Conduct Regular reviews with each site to ensure AOP target is achieved. - Multi-site Sourcing Projects - coordinate overall project to ensure execution. - Miscellaneous Projects - daily support of sites as required (Regional NPI sourcing). Global Liaison: - Liaise between Asia sites and Global sites to ensure alignment with Global initiatives. Reporting: - Material Productivity - Regional consolidation and reconciliation. Monthly review at Region & Global level - Commodity Inflation Tracker - Regional consolidation of market data and reporting to Region and Global teams. - Monthly / Quarterly Activity Report to Region and Global leadership. Requirements: - College Graduate with Degree in Technical or Business. MBA is preferred. - Experience in HVAC or Automotive Industry preferred but not absolutely necessary. - Minimum of 5 years work expererience in related role. - Good Communication skills in English to interact with Global sites - Ability to work with Cross Functional teams. - Proven track record showing performance in cost reduction and systems implementation.
