Responsibilities:
Basic Objective: Reporting to Senior Manager ¨C Treasury Asia Pacific, this person is responsible for managing the accounts payable, expense claim and payroll functions. This includes successfully transitioning local processes into shared services scope, standardizing existing processes and ensuring smooth operations of related process. This position will also be responsible for staff development as well as maintaining process quality through the use of performance metrics. To develop team and mentor team members The primary responsibility of this position is to be a resource for driving the implementation of a finance shared service center servicing various entities within the Asia Pacific region. The position is also responsible for promoting a culture of quality and process excellence in the shared service team through the use of performance metrics and process improvement projects. Specific Responsibilities: - Direct management over Accounts Payable, Expense Claim and Payroll teams and processes. - Actively participate in transition activities to transfer local processes into shared services scope with the objective of standardizing incoming processes to benchmarked process. - Drive process quality through the use of Performance Metrics and participate in formulating relevant performance metrics. - Implement and ensure adoption of Process Documentation standards within team. - Collaborate effectively with purchasing managers, accounting managers and system personnel to maximize effectiveness of process transition, improvement and key initiatives. - Participate in implementation of SAP and related future upgrades as well as maintaining control of SAP system for processes within scope. - Actively participates in new operation integration process as well as contributes in establishing standard procedures and policies for the new- setup entities. - Resolve difficult problems encountered by sub-ordinates while developing team members for greater future responsibilities. - Develop an effective succession plan for Cash Disbursement organization. - Maintain the highest level of honesty and integrity. Expect and promote that same level of honesty and integrity in the supporting staff. Relationships and Contacts: Internal: - Reports to Senior Manager ¨C Treasury - Work closely with corporate accounting, tax, treasury and credit control - Work closely with all the Asia Pacific entities, purchasing and finance teams External: - NA
Requirements:
Education and Experience Requirements: College degree in the field of Accounting or Finance. More than 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Core Competencies: In addition to exhibiting the Core Competencies of: Build Trust, Drive Continuous Improvement, Focus on the End Customer, and Set High Standards of Performance, the person must exhibit competency in: - Communication - Planning and organizing - Analytical - Collaboration - Proficiency in Excel and MS Visio
