Job     Job Title: Telecommunications Supervisor Location(s): Shanghai Number: 1 Company: American Company Responsibilities: Telecommunications Engineer, based in Shanghai, to assist the Asia Telecommunications team leader on all WAN, Remote Access, Network Security, Wireless LAN network and Internet Access services for American Standard Companies Asia Pacific network. This position will report to the Asia Telecommunications team leader. Specific Responsibilities and Activities will include: - Lead Telecommunication projects, conduct requirements gathering, perform installation, configuration, and trouble-shooting of Network Routers, Remote Access, Wireless LAN and Internet services - Knowledge in network protocols and connections; TCP/IP, Frame-Relay, Point-to- Point, MPLS network - Trouble-shooting on IP routing - Familiar with Cisco routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP - ISDN backup configuration and trouble-shooting - Provide accurate monthly circuit statistics report - Continuous improvement of WAN availability - Meet the SLA requirements - Provide proactive consultative support on business issues that arise as required to appropriately support the needs of the business and their efforts to achieve business objectives Requirements: Suitable applicants will have the following qualifications: - University degree in computer science or related disciplines - Minimum 4 to 5 years working experience in Telecommunication fields, preferable with Multi-National Company - Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is preferred Suitable applicants will have gained the following experience and skills: - Good teaming skills and ability to work with a diverse team - Excellent oral and written communication in English and Mandarin required - Solid experience in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project - Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to understand and analyze data and provide recommendations to management that allows effective and efficient achievement of business objectives - Ability to work flexible work hours as required - Presentation skills at all levels of the organization – management, team members, peers, and partners - Ability to coordinate and present accurate information in a consistent, organized, and concise fashion. Ability to effectively utilize information technology to meet team and customer requirements - International? travel required occasionally
